28-year-old Nikita Krivtsov, husband and father, a football fan of FC Molodechno, went missing on 12.08.2020, after demonstrations against President Alexander Lukashenko, in which he participated. After 10 days, he was found, hanging on a tree in Minsk, with numerous wounds visible on his body after hard beating. Family and friends say he would never commit suicide.
According to the Investigative Committee of Belarus, Nikita did not have any wounds on his body and he did not participate in any street protests against Alexander Lukashenko. However, after this statement, a video appeared on the web, showing Nikita with the Belarus flag in front of Omon (police) during a protest against President Alexander Lukashenko. The video was recorded in Molodechno on 09.08.2020.
On Nikita’s funeral, which took place on 25.08.2020 in Molodechno, apart from his family and friends, also came fans from Brest, Borisov and Minsk.
